Chris is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).  He has held many senior operational and HR positions in the Private, Not for Profit and Public sectors over a career spanning 43 years.  He holds Diplomas in both Management and HR.  As Head of Training for the RNLI he designed a framework that satisfied the marine regulator (the United Nations!) and led the team to win the prestigious National Training Award against over 5,000 competitors.  His pragmatic approach has helped businesses to grow significantly, and he believes passionately that the greatest asset he brings to his clients is to free up their time to enable owners to concentrate on growing their own business.

She holds Chartered Fellow CIPD status, has an MSc in Strategic HRM and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.  She has dealt with many disciplinaries and the exit of difficult employees from the business.  She also has experience of attending Employment Tribunals and utilising job evaluation frameworks and competency frameworks.

In addition, Moira has gathered various psychometric test accreditations which can be use in recruitment and selection, team building and management development.  She is an accredited to use MBTI Step 1 and 2, SHL’s ability and personality testing, F-iro B, and the Emotional Judgement Inventory.

Moira loves being creative, both in and out of work, and her team building workshops are legendary and involve Lego, Pipe cleaners and colouring & drawing.

I spent a significant number of years as a senior operational manager and found that the balancing organisational objectives, various performance targets whilst having the legal responsibility of ensuring the safety of staff, customers and other visitors quite a challenge.  The main issue was ensuring that we had suitable systems in place and that people followed those instructions.  In other words, merging systems and behaviours.

I set up CT Health & Safety in the belief that by ‘Integrating Health and Safety into Your Workplace’ you can both deliver organisational objectives as well as your legal and moral obligations under health and safety law.  There are several documents that you must have in place and we can ensure that you comply with those regulations as well as training to ensure appropriate behaviours are observed.

In my spare time, I run the Dorset Branch of South West Fishing for Life on a voluntary basis which provides free fishing to those people going through or having been through breast cancer.

Susan Hill Occupational Associate Consultant Health Nurse Advisor

Susan has a degree in Occupational Health Nursing and is registered as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. She provides comprehensive occupational health services to small to medium sized businesses including health surveillance, safety critical medicals, DSE and workstation assessments and management referrals. Previous clients have included scientific laboratories, airport security personnel, docks, councils and schools.

Susan’s passion is to support employers in enabling their employees to remain in the work place or facilitate a prompt return to work following illness/injury. She is also a qualified counsellor which has led to a special interest in stress and anxiety in the workplace. She can undertake stress risk assessments on behalf of employers and provide emotional resilience advice and training for employees.
